Dear FEED community,

I hope that you are all staying safe and positive during this difficult time. Our team is working remotely and in an effort to safeguard our customers & staff, we have temporarily closed our shop & cafe in Brooklyn.

Here in NYC, the public schools have also just closed, leaving many of our city's children without access to nutritious daily meals.

In times like these, our mission of fighting hunger becomes even more critical, especially for the most vulnerable members of our communities. Our partners on-the-ground are working tirelessly to keep school cafeterias safe and open, so the nearly 22 million students who rely on free or reduced-price meals can continue to pick up meals daily.

In light of this, over the next two weeks, we will be collecting donations at checkout, to support No Kid Hungry, at a time when the work that they do is so desperately needed. FEED will be matching all donations made, up to $10,000.

This donation will help support Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign across the United States, and its overall work to help feed school children from low-income families, and their immediate activation to aid vulnerable children, as millions of students are affected by school closings.

We are in this together and together, we can make a big difference for those who need it most.

As always, we are open 24/7 at feedprojects.com. If you have any questions or just want to chat, message us on Instagram or Facebook, we’d love to hear from you.

I am endlessly proud of the way this community bands together around the issues that matter most and continues to cultivate kindness –  I know that this time will be no exception.

We hope to see you very soon.
