I'm thrilled to take you behind the Polo x FEED collection, available today on ralphlauren.com and at the FEED Shop & Cafe in Brooklyn! It's Lauren, by the way.
This collaboration has been over a year in the making and truly, it was in our minds for even longer than that. We wanted it to feel very heritage FEED, which naturally meant burlap, vegetable-tanned leather and some linen elements, but also iconic and all-American, like the Polo brand.
From there, we brought the impact front and center, as well as the branding. It was actually Ralph's idea to bring the mission, along with the storytelling it brings, to the outside of the bags and we all loved how it transformed the look of the collection, it's bold and powerful.
This collection is so unique in many ways, one of which is the giveback, since all of the meals provided will stay here in the United States. To do so, we're working with our incredible giving partner, No Kid Hungry, who we've worked with for a while now to support free school breakfast programs. Did you know that as of 2017, all FEED product give meals both in the U.S. and globally?
And of course, it goes without saying how special this collection is to me personally. Working with family, who have been continuously supportive of FEED and our mission and of my dreams is so remarkable. It feels wonderful to bring Ralph Lauren into the movement to end childhood hunger and to do so in a way that feels so natural for both of our brands.
I hope you love this collection as much as we do, there's truly something for everyone, from the cool leather-brimmed baseball hat, to the iconic oversized tote that carries it all (trust me, I've tested it out on a beach day with my two boys), to the backpack that I haven't put down since I got mine (it's been hard keeping this a secret from you all).
