Naturally Dyed Easter Eggs
How to Naturally Dye Easter Eggs
Ditch the box this year for an all natural egg dye solution, as easy as it is pretty.
1. Chop 1 head of red cabbage and bring to boil. Simmer for 30-45 minutes.
2. Strain cabbage and let water solution cool to room temperature. Once water has cooled, add four tablespoons of white vinegar.
3. Place boiled eggs in a large baking dish so they're not touching. Pour water/vinegar solution over eggs, covering eggs completely. Let sit 30 minutes for light blue color and up to 4 hours for dark blue. (Eggs pictured here soaked for about 3 1/2 hours).
The Easter bunny is sure to approve!
