Ah, May. The days get warmer and brighter, trees and flowers bloom, and the anticipation of summer hangs in the air. I've been making plans, seeing friends, planning summer escapes, planting my garden, and spending time with my boys outdoors whenever we can, as they look forward to their last days of school and the unbridled thrill of summer vacation.
This past month brought heaviness and darkness too, blocking out some of the light. As the founder of a company designed to enact positive change and harness our power to build the better, kinder, more equal world we'd all like to live in, it's difficult to feel powerless to the pattern of disaster after disaster. Of division and inaction.
If anything, it throws me deeper into the work that we do at FEED. Our mission, but also our values and our community. We've built and attracted such a kind, forward-thinking group of activists, change-makers, and do-gooders who rally around our cause, our planet, and our future generations. So thank you for joining us and for believing in a better future with us.
