Welcome to The Daily FEED!

Lauren here with my first of many monthly updates from the FEED HQ. Today is a very special day at the office—the launch of our new website and blog. This project has been a long time in the making and a true labor of love from my team. I can’t wait for you to experience FEED in this new way with more insight into the the inspiring stories behind our products and designs. What I love most right now about the new platform is our ability to allow you to keep track of your individual meal count. Each time you make a purchase, you will be able to see how many people you have helped over the history of your time as a FEED customer. I can’t wait to get started myself!

In other big news, FEED Supper 2015 officially launches for host sign up this month! We cooked up FEED Supper last year as a way for our community to go beyond an impactful purchase in the fight against hunger. The idea is simple: host a dinner party for your friends where you ask them to make a donation to people in need, rather than bringing the typical bottle of wine or dessert. In year one, we set a really ambitious goal of raising 1 million meals between September 16th and October 16th, World Food Day.  And you blew us away with your response. Not only did we meet that meal goal, we nearly doubled it, ultimately raising 1.9 million meals for families around the world and here in America through these meaningful gatherings.

This year, we’re raising the bar to make an even bigger difference as a community.  I hope you will join us in hosting a FEED Supper to help us meet our 2 million meal goal! Check out our renovated FEED Supper site and host registration today. And be sure to keep checking in from now until World Food Day for signature Supper recipes and entertaining DIY tips from our favorite bloggers (is anyone else as obsessed with Naturally Ella as I am these days?), giving stories of the communities we are serving, and some surprises along the way.
