    wood salad bowl

    Waited so long for such a let down. The bowl looks nothing like the picture which shows a polished finish. Mine came with a dry rough finish as if it needed to be smoothed and waxed or polished. I have no idea how to even use this for salad as everything will stain it because of the unfinished wood. ordered the candle sticks and they are the same; extremely light weight and dull and un finished. I might try to wax them although I've never worked with wood and would not want to totally ruin them. Un fortunately the salad bowl is final sale. Imagine that!
