Hopefully by now, you've heard about our Giving Tuesday sweeps. (If not, you can enter here as many times as you want before December 5th.) Our own Lauren Bush Lauren worked with Kid & Coe to select her favorite good-for-the-world brands in what turned out to be our dream holiday giveaway. One of those brands is Outdoor Voices, who we've seen take the active-wear world by storm this year, not just with their yoga pants of perfection, but also their positive message to get out there and "do things." In the spirit of our giveaway partnership, we asked OV founder Tyler Haney to spill on what she might be carrying on a typical day of doing things. Psst...the FEED 1 looks good on you Tyler!
Doing Things Hat: We created the first round of blue Doing Things hats for last year’s Doing Things Day in May, a fun celebration of activity in support of Partnership for a Healthier America and Let’s Move, and now we see them popping up everywhere. We believe Doing Things is better than not Doing
Things — and that recreation is all about just getting out there and having fun with friends.
Athena Crop & 3/4 Two-Tone Warmup Leggings: These were the first two items I designed when I started OV, and they’re really all you need to get out and get active. They’re now the basis for our women’s Warm Up Kit, which is a perfect place to start if you’re new to OV.
Glossier Rose Water Mist & Balm Dotcom: I’ve been a Glossier fan since Emily launched the first line (we have neighboring offices!) and the Rose Water Mist is a great way to stay fresh after a little impromptu activity.
OV Gift Cards: Doing Things together with a friend is way more fun, so why not gift OV and pick up a new jogging buddy?
Sweetgreen: sweetgreen is my go-to spot to grab a quick bite, and there’s one (very) conveniently around the corner from our new New York HQ and shop on Centre St. The Shroomami bowl is where it’s at.
Laptop with Doing Things and Sky Ting Yoga Stickers: My friends and yoga angels Krissy and Chloe gave me this Sky Ting sticker and it’s a nice reminder to take care of myself and be mindful. They just opened their second studio, Sky Ting 2, in Tribeca and it’s so beautiful that I want to move in.
OV Nalgene: I grew up in Boulder, CO and Nalgene was a crunchy staple of family hikes. I keep this guy on my desk and it reminds me to stay hydrated throughout the day.
